The Birth of the Sundown Tribe Empty The Birth of the Sundown Tribe

((This RP is about the creation of a new tribe, one of Goldfinches. It is called the Sundown tribe. Now, it would be appreciated if those participating in this RP have a goldfinch character of some kind, to have it make more sense. However, you may still use your non-goldfinch characters.))

Olive-Toes was sitting on top of a thistle flower, watching the golden sunset. She began to play a slow, sad song on her ivory violin. Olive-Toes was thinking, There's a tribe of red and blue feathered birds, and a tribe of red-cjested birds. There should be a tribe of golden birds. If I can get together enough goldfinches, we can start our own tribe.

(I'll make a goldfinch in a sec, for now I'll use a couple of old OCs ^_^)

Lucky noticed her friend Olive-toes and landed beside her. "Hey Olive-toes, what's up?" she said.

Lucky nodded slowly. "Not a bad idea. Think the Stone-Run tribe would want new birds around though...?" she wondered. Lucky was sure they wouldn't mind, but she didn't really know for sure or anything like that.

Olive-Toes shook her head. "It wouldn't really matter, would it? The only problem would be if food or eggs got stolen. That won't happen."
The goldfinch began playign her violin again.

Olive-toes paused in her violin playing. "Thank you, Lucky. I will need your help if I am to create a new tribe. I shall use my violin to help me as well."

((Note - If anyone with a MALE GOLDFINCH charrie would like to play Olive-toes's mate, PM me.))

(I'll make one in a bit. Razz Right now I just made a girl one haha)

Piplock saw a goldfinch and a robin talking and flapped her wings as hard as she could to land next to them. "Hi!" she said in her high-pitched voice. "I'm Piplock. What're ya' up to?" she asked, swaying back and forth.

Olive-toes played a low, long note on her violin, which was her usual greeting. "We were just talking." she said. "In fact, we were talking about how nice it would be to have a tribe of Goldfinches. Would you like to join it?"

Piplock opened her mouth in a wide smile. "Wow! That sounds great! Yes, I'd love to! Finally, to be around other goldfinches again..." Her voice trailed off; she was remembering the sad day her parents and younger sister had been taken away by Turnatt's troups, and had died traveling through the White Cap Mountains

Olive-toes smiled. "Thank you," she chirped, playing her violin, "Tomorrow morning you shall help me assemble more Goldfinches. The tribe of gold will thrive soon!"

Piplock hopped up and down excitedly. "Oh boy! Oh boy! Oh boy! I can't wait! Also..." She stared at Olive-toes's violin longingly. "I really like that thing. What is it? Can I have one? How do you use it? It makes such beautiful sounds!"

Olive-toes laughed. "It's a violin. You play it by holding down certain strings with your claws and rubbing the bow across it, like this" Olive-toes demonstrated. "I'll bet I can find you one if you like."

Duold laughed. "It's just an old one, the finish is dull and it's just make of out red cherry wood, but I think it'll work for you." Duolc went into his hollow and returned with the said violin.

"It's beautiful!" Piplock gasped. She gently picked up the violin. It was a pretty golden-brown color. Piplock loved it. Turning to Olive-toes, she asked, "Will you teach me how to use it? Play songs?" Piplock hoped it wouldn't be too hard.

(Haha that's fine Wink)

Piplock did an excited hop in place. "That's great! Let me try, let me try!"

She tried to make up a piece.

And quite frankly, it sounded like the screech of a dying bird.

"Here, don't push too hard on the bow. It could snap the horsehair," Olive-toes said gently, positioning Piplock's toes into the correct form.

"Great!" exclaimed Olive-toes. "Soon you'll be able to play like this." Olive-toes played an extravagant and complicated song on her violin and finished with a bow in the air.
