This is where you can review Nancy Yi Fan's book Swordbird. Any and all reviews for Swordbird should go here, they shouldn't have their own topic. If you do that your review post will simply be moved to this thread, thanks. Smile

I loved Swordbird. It has such a good message, and Nancy's writing is phenomenal, regardless of age. I thought the dialect was a little formal at times, but it is a fantasy novel. Nancy and her message really inspired me!

I agree that Nancy's message of peace to the world with this book is fantastic, and overall she seems like a very bright young girl. ^_^ If only more people listened to her message of peace... *Sigh*

The Swordbird Review Thread Empty Omm sorry if this is a bit off topic...

I didn't really get far into Swordbird, only a few chapters, but it seemed okay. Better than plenty of books by adults, but not an amazing piece of literature that will become a classic. The writing style is good, but not original and eye-catching. Let's just say it's far better than anything Gloria Tesch could write!

Yep, I think Nancy sets a really good example for young writers! Sometimes it can seem like you'll never have any success but she has! Smile

IKR? I'm not going to read them, but I think it's awesome that Nancy is doing so well. I envy her.
